Sandra comes from a multicultural heritage, lives abroad, and works in various international settings. She finds a true passion in her work with clients of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. She is a strong partner and promoter of self-awareness and personal growth. This approach is at the core of her work with individuals and teams.
Sandra is a clinical psychologist, an executive coach, and organization consultant originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. Currently, she lives between Mexico City and Austin, Texas. She has over twenty years of experience coaching managers and executives. Her professional focus is on personal and professional coaching, team building and performance, and facilitating programs in international business environments. She leverages her experience of working with family and organizational systems and her psychological and organizational background to successfully create and deliver programs that promote personal growth and the development of leadership competencies and skills, as well as foment constructive C-IQ conversations within organizations. She has had the opportunity to work in the US, Mexico, Central and South America, working for international organizations, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of the Americas, Mexico City and has completed her doctoral studies in Clinical Psychology at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. She is a licensed Marital and Family Therapist and a certified facilitator and Coach for Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) and Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). She completed a postgraduate Professional Certification in Organization Development from Georgetown University, Washington D.C. and has finished a certification program as a Professional Supervisor of Coaches through the Coaching Supervision Academy (CSA) based in London, England. Sandy worked closely with Judith Glaser for over ten years as a colleague and friend. She is a certified facilitator and coach in Conversational Intelligence C-IQ through the Creating We Institute and Benchmarks Communications.
Sandra has four grown children who have also crossed borders, two living now in the United States, two in Mexico. Having been brought up with good food and great music in New Orleans, Sandy loves to cook either a seasoned creole meal or a spicy Mexican dish, and enjoys dancing rock, salsa, and cumbia.
